Are you hyped for the new He-Man Beat 'em up?
Maybe for the Stan Bush song.
>>736175370We're getting a movie AND a game?
I have never been hyped for a beat 'em up in my life
>>736176115yes? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D37CMwPC6iE

VENOSAGOMOSA
Yes, it looks great. Especially the women, hard to believe after the woke Kevin Smith sequel and the tumbrlified She-ra. But generally the art and animation seem a big step up from Bitmap Bureau's past games that always had something off despite being technically proficent. It's also nice that it's basically a Golden Axe game since Sega refuses to make that.
>>736175370>doesn't look pozzedPleasantly surprised.
>>736176115he-bros, we are so back
>>736175370Y ONIONS UN TROLAZOOOO
>>736176435>the art and animation seem a big step up from Bitmap Bureau's past gamesBiggest problem is that their original designs look completely uninspired. They should keep working on existing IPs.
Cautiously optimisticThe devs have mostly put out mid games but Terminator 2D was god tier so maybe they finally got their shit together.
>>736176821>Terminator 2D was god tieryou mean that game you finish in 1 hour?
>>736176904Yeah 1 hour is too much for a beat em up
I have faith so far and final vendetta was solid gameplay wise.
>>736176982We can shorten it up a bit moreYou only have to beat a guy per level, call it a "Beat 'im up"
>>736175370You bet I am, old chum!
>>736176309Looks Sovlful.
>>736177373this, also add a versus mode to play against friends, maybe it will get popular some day
>>736176821I'm interested because I like Final Vendetta but its surprising to hear that Terminator 2D isn't the pinnacle of mid
>>736176569lol
>>736176435Well, technically a new golden axe game is in development but it's an unholy combination of mobile/fortnite and tumblr aesthetics
>>736175370Anyone else feel like Final Vendetta enemies pressure you hard compared to other games? There's always someone up my ass when I play as Miller cause he's slightly slower. It's fun but I was yelling at my screen yesterday.
>>736178014I honestly hope it was canceled
>>736175370SIENTO VERTIGO EN LA COLA!
>>736176309Eagerly awaiting someone to rip these sprites for mugen.
COLORADO TE DOY MEDIA HORA PARA QUE ME SUELTES
>>736178087Judging from your image, so do I. That looks soulless as fuck
>>736178281ANDALE ANDALE ARRIBA ARRIBA to you too, Mr. Mexican
>>736176904I guess different people expected all sorts of different things from a T2 game. Like being able to play as Arnold lol. I think they made a beautiful interactive experience, they're also good at making scoring systems.
>>736176982T2D was a mechanical mess. A mashup of gimmicks that leave no room for mastery (party because it's so easy that everyone beat it on the first try) or any desire to revisit. A beat'em up might only be an hour long, but with strong mechanics and design they're typically highly repayable.
>>736177680Terminator 2D is actually really awesome. It's also short, but I think that's only a negative because a lot of people just aren't into replaying games for score (and T2D has a really good scoring system).>>736178063Yeah it's definitely one of the harder beat 'em ups I've played and kicks my ass harder than The Ninja Saviors.
>>736175370Besides the strong homosexual overtones, is there any particular reason why He-Man seems to have been even more popular in the UK than in America?
>>736178659how do you know He-man is more popular in the UK? He-Man was popular everywhere.
>>736178631Exactly, in FV it's balanced nicely so that you could get a 1up every 3 or even 2 levels that you S rank. Then there's 1 hidden on the ground in each level, and I'm at the point that getting just a couple lives from either of those sources could be the difference between getting a clear or not.
>>736178783I preferred Thundercats and Transformers and Voltron. Maybe a bit of Bravestarr
>>736176982Shredder's Revenge, Fight'n Rage, and Skinny & Franko are all closer to 2 hours and those games run the gamut of mainstream, hardcore indie, and obscure indie.
>>736175370Me gustan las chicas
I didn't know there was one until I saw this thread. Good advertising, Anon. I actually am interested.
Is there any 80s/early 90s IP that they haven't revived for an old school beat em up yet? I think we're running out.

>>736180858Lmao I forgot about that. It was a real Shredder's Revenge clone
>>736180563I always wanted a Big Trouble in Little China beat 'em up, it'd be a perfect fitThere was technically one for home computers in 1987, but the quality is what's you expect
>>736180563Little Shop of Horrors
>>736180760Fuck yeah
>>736180563Gremlins?

>>736175370Is there a mod to beat up kevin smith?
>>736183441Only if you select him in the new Jay and Silent Bob game and let the enemies kill you
a little last Scot Pilgrim was solid as well
>>736184220this game doenst look bad but i hope it is bad bcs of how much of a cuck kevin smith is
