they've never pulled me in. Same for RDR.The actual gameplay...is dogshit. The driving is ok but the gunplay is absolute trash. You REALLY have to play these games for atmosphere and story...similar complaints for morrowind/oblivion/skyrim. W/e. The most enjoyable parts of these games is finding the alex-jones style talk radio show while driving and just listening and exploring.
