Nah Kliff is great. The issue is that Kliff's personality mainly shines around the Greymanes. He bluntly does not give a shit about the Abyss plot mumbo jumbo, which is right at the start of the game so it's the first impression you'll get of him. Meanwhile the camp/Greymane quests are a fair few hours into the game so a lot of people just write Kliff off as silent/boring before he actually does anything.

Shouldn't have even made the side characters playable really, they're useless in a lot of ways, like literally they don't have the functions needed to do puzzles and shit.
they reuse the same exact "yes" line over and over for side quests where thats literally all he says the entire question, 1 word. then the npc rambles . its the lowest effort shit ive ever scene in games, there's no excuse either because voice acting is the easiest cheapest thing they can do in games
