Wouldn't it be a cool mechanic if Samus lost her Power Suit when she gets to 0 health, gains a small amount of health and has to fight melee / pistol in her Zero Suit as an emergency.
Like D.VA from Overwatch.

It would be nice to have a 3D Metroid that boasted a sprawling interconnected world that Samus could traverse with as much agility and dynamism as the 2D games. Prime sorely misses that.
