I've already kind of messed up my character build by starting a Redguard, picking warrior skills, and then realising that I really enjoy the magic system so I ended up grinding my wisdom and int up.I don't think I like the Morrowind stat system desu. I can't imagine ever ignoring strength without getting completely fucked with carry weight, you're heavily encouraged to spam as many endurance points for the first five levels and then leave it alone, and it's rough to get spells to function without both int and wis. If you told me before going in that my go-to dump stats in the slow walking simulator Morrowind were going to be speed and agility I'd laugh you out the room.

That's basically the main reason the armor categories exist in morrowind, how much inventory weight do you wanna dedicate to your armor? I like the aesthetics and setting of Fallout, but Bethesda always treats it as their "Marvel quip machine" and if the tone's not painfully edgy it's dripping with irony and poor attempts at humor. It's nice to return to a genre of fantasy that lets you be the hero and not constantly mock you behind your back for it.
