what's wrong with 2077 that the sequel could fix /v/?
More bug testing, less promising everything advertising.
>>736197426Every building should be enterable.
>>736197708I don't think the marketing for CP2077 ever said it was a "you can do anything" game. What we got was pretty much what the devs promised (minus the bugs and the original story premise).
>>736197426Body sliders like Saints Row 3.
Nope, won't fool me twice nu-CDPR
>>736198295that's begging for slopification
this game is over a decade away
>>736197426It needs to be an actual RPG in a post BG3 world
>>736198437ok, slopify it
>>736197426Less rigid story more sandbox. Cyberware should be significantly expanded and entirely optional.More penis and vagina options.Origin stories that actually matter.>>736199089sex with animals
>>736199089there are plenty of games like that, but they're not as popular as 2077.
>>736197426>have actual factions that the protagonist can join/work with in a meaningful way>have jobs and events that actually change the game world beyond a superficial level>have the roles be proper roles and not just be a solo who can hack or has an occasional dialogue option>have a plot around working your way up from a zero with no bullshit about ghost engram burnouts>have vehicles which can be customized and upgraded >same with guns>more aesthetic cyberware like the chrome skin and maybe some of those animal implants from the table top>fix the driving>have a post game that lets you enjoy being at the top>radiant missions (normally they’re gay and lazy but as long as they don’t replace regular side quests and just are there after you finish all the other shit for a fixer then they would be fine) >more clothing and custom clothing>gloves>the ability to go full-borg>customizable apartments>random gang wars and fire fights you can joinThat’s all I can think of for now.
>>736197426Stop hyping the game as rpg when you're literally playing farcry 2077
>>736197426Make it an RPG
>>736199650Oh I can’t believe I forgot this >NO>VOICED>PROTAGONIST
>>736200139male v always sounds like an douchebag all the time.
>>736199650>>736200139>forgetting third person perspectiveA rogue Delamain will run you over soon
>>736197426Better romance options, humanity for cyberware, less focus on big name celebrities, no ecelebs, new cyberware, better roleplaying options for just a few. I hope the next protagonist has better life paths and stands on his own without someone famous like Johnny sliverhand.
>>736200309That’s going on the list
>>736199650I'm kinda curious but what game has everything that this greentext even listed? Beyond stuff like better driving and customizable apartments you sounds like your a kid who wants a 50 billion dollar budget game instead of something more realistic.
>>736197426Semi Open world like Deus Ex instead of open world slop like Far cry
>>736202210It won't sit right with the audience and will be viewed as them downgrading.
>>736198295>Every femaleftfy
>>736202252fuck the audience no matter if the sequel is good or not people will complain but if they're able to make an actual RPG from less time on sloggy worse gta than it'll probably be treated better in the long run.
why would we ever need a RL actor in a videogame? who the fuck came up with this shit? why? why pay some fucking hollywood shithead instead of making a proper game? W T F
>>736197426More freeroam and stuff to do. Different hotels, apartments and making them better, character customising. Less boring. Better shooting, no melee. High frame rate when in sights and most input right stick or gun controller.Gloves so you can interact with the world. No niggers-jews-asians.
>>736198316Yeah, the problem is people thought that they were getting Skyrim: Cyberpunk Edition, when that is not really what CD Project makes. I knew people were setting themselves up for disappointment early on. It was weird, given how popular Witcher 3 was, I would have thought that people would have realized that this wasn't going to be a Bethesda-style RPG.
>>736198572half right. the top shit is actually important and kino to fleshing out the world. you need dumb gang shit during the day, they think they're hot shit but the real motherfuckers is the shit on the bottom.
>>736204513In hindsight, that 48-minute gameplay video really fucked them over. People quickly forget that things they see in early previews can change or get cut later. They even state that in their video.
The styles of clothing. I kind of feel like the anime had the right style and the game seems to be leaning more towards old 80's type shit. Which isn't a bad thing, but if they took more inspiration from the anime/Japanese, it would have a way cooler style.
>>736197426this is one of the shittiest games ive ever played and it was free.
It makes me laugh just how huge the cyberpunk fashion modding subcategory is. cdred's base wardrobe options really were pretty lame (they even managed to make a TRENCHCOAT look lame as fuck HOW) but the Bethesda modding community stepped the fuck in to fix THAT. we thank starfield for its sacrifice.
>>736197426Option for third person camera. Let the cutscenes remain first person if that want that style of story tellingWhat's the point of having all that cyberpunk fashion if you can't see any of it on your character during normal gameplay?
>>736204895Only the flashbacks to the 2020s had an 80s style which was utterly superior to the fashion in the rest of the game. Flashback Rogue was hot AF.
>>736197426Nothing. The sequel is going to be UE5 so automatically it won't be as good or have as much potential as 2077.Damn shame too. I think Cyberpunk might be one of the greatest vidya of all time.
>>736197426Something i would like to see is having Discoverable Topics by doing side content. One thing 2077 did very well is passively show the player the network of gangs, their influence, and business ties. Before you get the gigs to deal with Jotaro and the Scavs, you can uncover their control of the docks, their control of shipping through a front, their network throughout the city to track and capture loners to star in xbds, their network of blackmarket rippers selling cyberware they stripped from the dead. Most players on their first playthrough wont understand what they are looking at. But it should be something the main character can comment on in the moment and for it to be a topic that can be brought up with the appropriate characters. it might be useful to someone in the Tygers to know the Maelstrom ruined their batch of drugs and are dumping it in Santo Domingo's market.
>>736205171Honestly 2077 has amazing mods outside of that.ENC, they will remember, the rebalancing of the wanted system. It's all pretty great.
>>736200139Really gay take. V was a great protag. People just wanted him to be a full self insert when ultimately yes you could decide a few things about V but he was still his own character. And a good one too.Helped both voice actors were top notch.
>>736199298>Shadowrun ReturnsRacter is best Shadowrunner.
>>736197426>lifepaths are longer and have more impact>actual classes with build diversity>no level scaling, probably the worst "fix" they made>cut down on the randomized loot. You can still have a bunch of geric pieces if necessary but the Borderlands shit is ridiculous>expand NPC interactions. Not just more shit with romances but let the player interact more with their friends/allies outside of missions>factions that you can ally with or piss off leading to consequences good or bad>player actions have more consequence
