Max Payne's voice actor died, and the person who owns the rights to the games cannot get many of the original games free from the grips of Rockstar.

I think Remedy finished the Remake of 1 already but because Rockstar is in control of the IP nobody fucking knows when they'll actually release it
I'm guessing its supposed to be after GTA6 but that keeps getting pushed back

I read once that the face actor for MP2 Timothy Gibbs actually did a decent impression of James so I thought maybe they'd just reach out to him to carry the torch if they wanted. Could be neat.
