I beat Dark Souls like 10 times and I used this every single time, even on "challenge" runs, did it even count?
Yes.RoFaP makes you more efficient. The buff's aren't significant enough to save a bad player.
yeah, why wouldn't it count?if anything you handicapped yourself by using that ring in challenge runs instead of nuking bosses with bellowing dragoncrest + red tearstone + power within + pyromancyand for going through the game you miss out on ring of fog + slumbering dragoncrest
>>736198195you interacted with mechanics the game offers, therefor your play through was invalid
>>736198195Did you see the ending cinematic and credits? Then yes, yes you did beat the game. No, it doesn't matter you didn't play a SL1, bare fists only, blindfolded and handcuffed, controlled the gamepad with your toes. You beat it with magic? You beat the game. You beat it at SL300? You beat the game. You beat it as a giant dad? You beat the game. You beat it as a dick ass rogue? You beat the game. You beat it with summons? You beat the game. You beat it without summons? You beat the game. You completed every side character sidequest? You beat the game. You killed every side character on first meeting them? You beat the game. You beat the game. Congrats. Now grow a spine and quit looking for validation from insecure faggots who desperately want to be elites on an imageboard.
>>736198195>needing rings>needing equipment at all>needing to create a characterYou didn't beat the game.
I've never used the Ring of Favor and Protection and the idea of needing to dedicate a ringslot to just stat increases permanently is dumb. I'd prefer to use both ring slots, thank you.
>>736198195>uses ringsYou didn't beat the game
>>736198195Nope. Using Shields, Heavy Armor or Greatswords doesn't count as beating the game either. It's like setting the game to "I'm just here for the story" type difficulty.
>>736198195The only things in Dark Souls that invalidate runs is the grass crest shield and the giant dad build
>>736199963Say what I can use to beat the game
