The game is busted. Fundamentally there is only 1 strategy and its spamming flash bangs because non-lethal is the "right" way to play for ranking purposes. The game lacks diversity in missions and gearing, AI that actually responds differently or is able to protect itself in different ways. You would think for example if people are spamming flash bangs then after about half a map being cleared the enemies would start avoiding them or shielding themselves. All the tools you would expect to be useful, like the wand, are 100% detriments that slow you down with the only exception being trapped doors (but you can ignore that too by just edging the doors). Not once in all my hours playing with people has anyone bothered to look inside a room first and communicate a thing before just smashing the door and causing a second big bang inside.

>>736201680I played again for the recent DLC. I always use shotguns so the console release made me notice that I couldn't blow enemies heads off anymore. I still can't do that now but now their heads now turn into some misshapen sponge instead which is kinda cool but not as gore-y as it was before. The AI is still fucking awful and I wish a thousand deaths on the idiot in charge of it. So much quality to the game but the retard designing the AI is a lazy faggot.
