The HUD's also comically large in the WiiU version, if that bothers you. >>736204767Switch version is one of the best Definitive Editions made when it comes to integrating the DLC stuff into the main game, instead of being some overpowered extra shit you have unlocked on the go they re-arranged all the rewards in the adventure maps to account for the extra characters like they always belonged there so if you plan on investing some time in the game outside the Story mode you should definitively get the DE. Also you can like switch characters on the fly while on the Wii U you're stuck with one character for the mission and that can make the game quite flexible

>>736204767the story should be pretty much the same outside the extra missions, but the real meat of the gameplay is the adventure map mode which is massively rebalanced in the definitive edition. In particular the dlc maps in the original version are pretty poorly balanced and you need to grind a shitload to be at the right level for them, otherwise you'll get 1 shot and do pretty much no damage at all making A ranks pretty much impossible to get. DE also has twice as many adventure maps.

I got about 100 hours in. Didn't ever get to the later characters, but I keep getting the urge to go back. I always get stuck on having to do some missions for characters I don't like or haven't leveled and then stop for a bit.

>>736208608Don't be afraid to use money on the level up characters option. The lower level you start from the more rupees you'll save when you catch them up to the higher level characters. (example: Training Dojo a character from level 1 to 99 is cheaper than going from 50 to 99).

>>736201861It's good, but it's one of the rare games that actually has TOO MUCH content. I usually enjoy games that have tons of content, but HW has so much padding and reused content. It's the only game I can think of where you can see everything the game has to offer by about the 20 hour mark, yet be nowhere near 100%ing it by the 200 hour mark. It's insane.
