Videogames aren’t fun any more. I find reading books to be more enjoyable. Is this what growing up is supposed to be like?
>>736202885>grow up loving video games>discover TTRPGs>realize that those are better than video games>and sexyes, embrace it
Do dopamine detox you dingus, doing too much of the same thing makes you bored of it. Go 3 months without a game then try to play one
>>736202885Fuck off with your demoralizion thread faggot
>>736202963I haven’t sat down and played a videogame for more than like twenty minutes in almost two years. Every couple of months or so I’ll get the desire to play one again. But I’ll get bored after like ten minutes and stop.
>>736203029Many people have said the same thing about reading. What advice would you give them?
Yet spamming worthless frog threads is totally entertaining for you
what i do is play video games until they're aren't fun anymore, then i read books until i'm bored of them, then i watch movies until i'm sick of them, and by that point i'm no longer burned out on gaming so i repeat the cycle
>>736203218It takes some practice and patience to learn how to read in the age of the internet. Read things you genuinely enjoy. If a book doesn’t have you invested by like thirty pages in, that’s okay. Don’t feel obligated to read it. If you ever sit down to read a book that you like and still can’t focus, that’s okay. Come back later and try again.>>736203259Yeah. My 4chan has still persisted unfortunately.
>>736202885Play Sword of Convallaria
I am 35 and still play at least an hour of games a day. Dunno how you guys give up, I love games too much.
>>736203461adulthood is leaving /v/ and going to other board
>>736203610I go on some other blue boards. This one is more active though. It’s probably not good.
>>736203029You haven't dopamine detoxed if you play games frequently even just 20 minutes at a time, go 3 months without it
>>736203029>20 minues a day without failFound the gacha addict.
>>736203701>>736203837No, not twenty minutes a day, more like twenty minutes every two or three months.
>>73620352530 and same. only difference to when I was younger is that I don't really play a lot of different games these days, I stick to one or two games at a time and sink a lot of time into each. honestly can't remember the last time I played a new game on release. but I still spend plenty of time gaming.
>>736202885i have a problem where i want to play every game all at once and just never launch anything.
>>736202885no, you just found something else you can enjoy. there is a nearly limitless amount of other hobbies you could be doing that would be more productive.
nah im afraid its worse OP you just became a fuckin NERD
