It's been so long I've come up with three separate ideas for the P6 story.

>gap year vacation where you travel from Hawaii out to different locales around the pacific rim in real in-game time, a more spread out version of the Tokyo map of P5 where it takes in-game days to travel. You have to be at certain events by full moons to complete rituals so your party members are mostly Shadow World ally muppets and it's a roadtrip Muppet Movie style with banjo themes and relaxing music, but your social connections are at specific spots for each arcana, and while you can level it somewhat online, you have to be in these places for certain key rank ups

>Persona covid hits and you're stuck indoors with shipments to your home, and a doorway to the expansive shadow realm, where your waifu lives and wants you to stay. You level up social skills indoors and your arcanas are somewhat in the shadow realm but there's some limited friends you can make. There's a gap in the disease during the summer where restrictions are lifted and it plays more normally with a fully open Osaka/Kyoto to explore, but by fall you're back to your room and Shadow world

>AMERICA! You're an exchange student sent to a rural city in Texas and have to learn to operate a car. Shadow World is vehicles, full moon is a set of Persona Wacky Races. Real world involves you driving to school, work, new locations, everything is vehicle based and more along a track system so you aren't crashing around shit like GTA, but you have to obey traffic symbols or you could get speed cameras or caught by the police and face fines or a liscense suspsension. Full American Summer Vacation and you can travel all over Texas ala first prompt, lots of Atlus just roasting Americans and American style in that way Japanese people do, weebs will pretend they hate it until it's out and then say it's all true.
