What's your opinion on devs letting streamers influence and make decisions regarding game balance?
It's a tough position where of fucking course you ask the guys who played 10,000 hours of your game when the rest of the world moved on from it, but it's also a very small sample size of maniacs with likely no dissenting voices to reign in their most outrageous ideas. The entire community is divided enough on stuff like Enigma and when you can only ask several of your most dedicated content creators, you're basically flipping a coin and letting 4 yes vs. 3 no determine what millions of players will have to put up with. Secret playtesting of an expansion that hadn't been announced was one thing. Now that the cat is out of the bag, they need community polls and more public test servers instead of just shadowdropping what they've been working on.
i don't think developers should care at all about what any player thinks
