I prefer Satisfactory
What the fuck? I don't remember making this thread.
do most people who like this game just use blueprints? i try to play this game with no guides or help and i find i get really bored. even "spaghetti" isnt that fun because it requires a lot of work and planning out, its not like you can just plop things down most of the time. kind of a tedious game.
>>736205747Someone who is less neurospicy than someone who plays Satisfactory
>>736205843Love me some Satisfactory, but I always end up turning the power requirements off because i can't stand how much of a fucking mess the power lines make everything look and I'm not autistic enough to spend six hours engineering ways to hide them.
>>736205862You beat it once then use blueprints for everything. The game is only really "playable" once. Sure you can optimize and do things a bit different each run but once you have the most efficient set-ups (blueprints) there's no reason to deviate from them. The whole idea is to just plop things down and when you need more you just put down more machines. You usually rebuild your starter factory a few times then start scaling up using what you learn each time.
>>736205862How do you not play with blueprints? You can do CTRL+C and then CTRL+V at any time while playing. There's a tutorial in game that teaches you it.
>>736205862>>736205970God what a pair of fucking retards
>>736205956In 1.2 experimental you can now daisy-chain machines. Sure the wire clips but it's better than power poles. Also once you unlock the wall outlets you can pretty much hide all the power in the foundations.
Notice how that guy resorted to name calling instead of providing any sort of counter argument, it's how you know what was said was correct.
>>736205843Another great thing about Satisfactory is you got this fantastic FREE program called Satisfactory modeler that lets you plan out factories. You can plan from the end product or you can start from the input such as ore and see what you can produce. There's no better tool out there.
>>736206090That was me, sorry I got really angry.I'm a better person now and I hope we can move past that. We're all in this together
>>736205862Once the spaghetti gets a bit unmanageable is around they time blueprints are introduced. I made my own books and used them in a second run and optimized them a little more. Or maybe I made them worse, who knows? Seems better.

>>736206229That's what that is? I assumed it was for modding.
>>736205747An enormous casual that doesn't realize they're playing modern versions of grandpa games like virtual solitaire
why am i looking in the mirror
>>736206454Nope, lets you plan. Really nice saying "I have 3 normal iron ores using mk.1 miners" and seeing what all I can make or saying I want 250 modular frames per minute and then it giving you the amount of materials needed and building backwards off that. You can over clock and use sloops too. Those machines that say like 6.67 mean you need 6 machines with one over clocked to 67% BUT if you don't want to deal with that you can go in there and it'll auto clock the machines for you to get you a nice clean number and tell you exactly what to clock every machine to like 125.6667. You can even plan out power stations so you can get maximum use out of everything.
>>736205992When people talk about using blueprints what they mean is going online and downloading premade blueprints and using those. Not just for stuff like belt balancers or chunk aligned rails that you might be autistic enough to make yourself but for pretty much every single building and then they use those blueprints to play the game for themself. It's frankly a very strange concept, but there are people like that.
>>736206631*underclock to 67%
>>736206638I did that and it ruined the game for me.
>>736206638Yeah, that's like people who look up the solutions to the puzzles in Portal. The people who just want to complete games without actually experiencing the game itself do that.

>>736205862>>736205992I never realized you can actually automate blueprints. I just pasted the ghosts and then manually put everything down for the whole game.
>>736207972You never made bots?
