If you think that seems out-of-character, that means you already have a sense of who they are, they have a personality, and you just don't know how to quantify it. Personality isn't only about visible traits (like humor, anger, quirkiness, etc.). It also exists in subtler things, like morality, tone, calmness, kindness, or passivity, which are themselves character traits, and if you're not an ADHD brownoid, it's quite natural to appreciate them.
