>Grown men will pay to watch another grown man play video games and say hello to them once in a while over a Livestream
What the fuck
>>
>Grown men will come to a 4chan board and complain about what other men do with their time

you pay to watch a football game/sports broadcast, (the station broadcasting it may be free to access, but the equipment isn't - much like a computer and youtube) how is that any different than watching someone play a video game?

One is watching athletes that have trained their entire lives at the pinnacle of human ability. The other is watching a guy who sometimes forgets to wipe his own ass.

fair, but i personally don't really see that much difference between watching sports and watching someone play a game. one obviously requires a lot more talent than the other, but you're still just watching someone do something virtually. although a talk show (something largely for entertainment) would've been a more apt comparison.

If this were the days of gladiatorial combat I would agree but today we are in the age of niggerball with rules that prevent anything entertaining.

You can watch but the why the fuck are you turning them into Millionaires?
>>
Gamecucking is wild to me. You somehow have free time to yourself after working 40 hours a week and God forbid if you have a family too and you spend that watching Demarcus play the games in the way your ytoid shrimplet never could instead of just playing it yourself.

Fighting sports exist if you want gladiatoral combat.
>but the rules
Gladatorial combat was fake like wrestling its entertainment.

There have always been men on this earth since the invention of video that have wanted to get home, kick back, and have a beer while watching something entertaining after a hard day's work.

I am not personally one of them, but we have to acknowledge that we are in the minority, brother

playing a game takes effort
