>>736213524You seem to think that just because Vanu had 2 really good infantry weapons that they were the end-all-be-all on everything, but in any sort of vehicular combat, the vanu were shat upon by literally both factions pretty fucking hard. And seeing as vehicular combat was one of the few things that amplified force effectiveness far beyond that of pure infantry, your opinion is garbage.The TR's MBT was able to out-DPS literally anything on the field and break entire tank/sunderer columns without breaking a sweat. The NC's MBT had a fucking invulnerability shield that lasted long enough to get enough shots off, and had enough alpha strike damage to rip apart any sunderers in seconds unless it had a gaggle of engineers already repairing it. The TR Mosquito had literally the agility, speed, and range to do hit and run attacks that not only wiped out infantry and tanks alike, but allowed them to outrun/reposition so that missile locks were pretty much ineffective and while the NC lacked the range of the mossy, their shotgun primaries were fucking abused to their fullest in knife-fights and had the small arms damage reduction to stay in there long enough to be a problem and get out just as quickly. What did the VS have? A tank that could strafe, a shitty 2 second speed boost, and was paper-thin and an ESF that had...turning speed as its advantage?All three factions had their strengths and weaknesses, but the one domineering fact that can be attributed across damn near every other server is that TR and NC attracted dumb-as-bricks retards who had no idea how to play the game on a macro level, while the VS time and again had fantastic leadership across the board. Able to pull off jukes, capitalize on undefended outposts, able to swiftly pivot from theater to theater to keep both factions off-balance, and generally played the long game whereas the TR and NC simply cared about fights and cert-farming.

I remember playing TR back then, going with a jetpack and shotgun solo and sneaking behind enemy lines to their sunderer and spawncamping like crazy. Getting like 30+ kills.Even in the big fights, coming from weird angles with the ability to fly around could clear a front that has been hard stuck for 30 minutes. I wonder why so few other people did this.
