You think Valve has anything planned for TF2's 29th anniversary?
>>736213620No, but all those new people they've hired after the TF2 source code leak are working on a new Team Fortress project of some kind. We might get some kind of tease for it on the 30th Anniversary. Probably in the form of one last serious official update that adds new weapons. based on early versions of the new Stock weapons in Project TF that they can pretend weren't a promise it was coming if the project crashes and burns.

They really don't need to do anything more than improve casual/revert quickplay and buff some bad weapons.
>>736213620No.Move on.
>>736213620Yes.To find out where you live, come over to your house while you sleep and SHIT IN YOUR MOUTH!
For the 20th anniversary they'll finally work up the nerve to tell every remaining TF2 player to fuck off and die because they're tired of maintaining a 20 year old code base instead of getting paid to fuck around and do whatever they want.
>>736213927Quake Team Fortress was released on August 26, 1996. The 30th anniversary for Team Fortress as a franchise is six months away. The 20th Anniversary of TF2, specifically, is 18 months away.
