Yes. And I know this will make you assmad: I'd also play it on a CRT or with a CRT filter. Now fuck off back to Fortnite, zoomie.

SHIT UGLY 2001 GRAPHICS.. BUT HD

When were you diagnosed as being on the spectrum?

I’ll just wait for a remaster

left looks better, it adds to the atmosphere, its like watching the game play out on an old camera/cctv system and you're tracking the protag through the story
>>
tf is the point of playing nostalgia games if they don't look like ass, just like when i was a kid

Some of the results look like they could've been how they looked in the 3d modeller viewport. It seems the upscaling process gets rid of all post-processing that were done to the images. They should add film grain there at least. Some stuff is just bad though like those cars.

Not OP, but something about a random person threatening to eventually play a videogame on a CRT and thinking it'll make someone "assmad" is so funny to me

The problem is the details lost in the right.
Everything looks new for some fucking reason.

I hate AI, but Id rather play a ps1 game with right graphics on my pc as long as only small details get lost in the AI translation. I hate that pixelation on the left, to the point Im willing to compromise. Ps1 games are meant to be played on a crt, not on a modern monitor.

I like AI but most "AI" upscaled texture packs suck, like .. all of them or at least all the ones I've looked at. They go too far in the smoothing when the pixels are part of the charm of the original texture work.

Like one of my favorite games here has an HD texture pack and I think it sucks, I prefer to play it without the pack.

Here's a list of some btw, it's big

disgusting

The upscaled textures usually have hallucinations, but I'd still prefer it in most cases.
