Do you need to 100% (using a guide) the game you're playing on your first go, or play it blind first?

Needing to 100% every game on your first playthrough is the most autistic fucking thing I've ever heard
>>736218486I never 100% a game on my life
>>736218486Almost never 100% games but do avoid guides as much as I can because I have a bad habit of power gaming if I can. I try to preserve the wonder and surprise of a game as much as I can before I start abusing it and go into grug big number mode.
>>736218486100% any game is a waste of time. There has never been a game where 100% it grants you anything substantial other than a slap in the face.
>>736218486Play it blind first. You'll never get another opportunity to play the game blind again, so it's best to jump in with no knowledge and see how the game plays. After you beat it, or after you give up if you just can't play any further, then feel free to try a guide. Maybe it'll tell you something that makes the game a lot more fun, maybe it'll just reinforce how awful the game is. And if the game was shit the first time, then no reason to play thru it again.
>>736218486play blind at the highest difficulty almost always playing old games is so much better without hype. hype really ruins good games, video game reviewers really kill the fun. The only worthwhile video game reviewer is the angry video game nerd
>>736218486for a zelda game i usually try to get every hearpice on my own blind and then on my second rtun i look up a guide for a ll the stuff i missed out onI never look up a guide for my first playthrough i go in blind and then check out wha ti missed out on
