I find it funny that some CRPGs have their strongest weapons/classes be the fist-man, I recall PoE's monk and Wasteland 3's brawler scaling up big time.

Always Chivalry. Unarmed is NOT GOOD in this game, as even a basic arming sword gives you an advantage over Unarmed. BUT getting good at Unarmed can have some very cathartic moments.
