Sales and customer interfacing product/design roles can't be AI because there is a key component of manipulating people. Software dev is now way more automated (that's what I do) but I'm now firmly confident it isn't going away. AI just makes it so I can churn through a ticket that would have taken days in a few hours. There is still stuff I need to do that is very human, like talking to product people and figuring out what they ACTUALLY want and not just doing what they say, or debugging weird edge cases that the AI generated code misses (in ways that would not be fixed by just making the AI "smarter" because it is missing context or making reasonable assumptions that are just wrong).
