AI upscaled textures but in the earliest days of AI imaging, and Indians outsourced to do the rest but not understanding what they were doing.But personally, Dark Souls remastered. There were plenty of things it could have changed / fixed but didn't, and they somehow managed to make the game actually look worse a decade later. Lazy cash grab, just an excuse to resell it on new consoles.
Arkham City is a good example but basically any game near the beginning of PS4/XB1 generation when devs just ported a bunch of UE3 games to UE4 with zero regard for the original lighting choices in the previous gen version.

Similarly, any intrusive DRM like Denuvo or always-online devalues your product so I will only consider it on a very very steep discount. For other games, it's straight up a reason for me to pass up on it: I was considering buying Toxic Commando because the demo was quite fun but I learned it was always-online which is like putting an expiry date on your game so I shan't be purchasing.
