its good, but its not finished. I'll check back in a year
>>
it's good. not as janky as it's made out to be. there are some intense difficulty spikes moving between the early areas. you start as a blank slate and build your character as you progress. the development of your stats and abilities is mostly pretty boring for melee but it is intricate. worldbuilding is excellent. very glad I played it, would replay as a magic char too.

east european souljank on a budget of a vodka bottle and half a colbas
I enjoyed it, but I can't recommend it if you're not into that sort of thing.

A solid AA title that takes the idea of open world, but segments it into 3 primary regions that are just large enough to "open world" but small enough that you can reasonably find things out and about and not have lots of dead time that is usual to the genre. Combat can range from very smooth and usually pretty fun to extreme jank as enemies will often just casually attack through each other ignoring collision detection, and your attacks require hyper accuracy despite many melee attacks being wide sweeps that should be incredibly easy to hit with. I finished with a magic build, but as there aren't many vendors who just sell spells, you have to find them in the world. Which means if you don't find any particularly good spells you'll be up shit creek for a good long while. Once you do though the games difficulty can spike up and down between painfully drawn out slog or incredibly easy one shotting. Same goes for melee builds I imagine as a lot of the rare gear can have really important abilities that can make a build function with the skills you grab.

A very decent 7/10 that with some more patches will be a respectable 8/10.

How is it "not finished"?
>>
In addition to what others have said: it's only 40gb or something. For a modern RPG, that makes it pretty neat in my book.

Good game overall, the writing is actually quite decent and that's saying a lot for a "Western" RPG. The main menu theme also goes hard.
>>
Slop board game port of the highest order. You don't hate adaptations enough.
>>
Started out clunk, became kino for a while, then a slow and steady decline starting from act 2.
The enemy AI is pretty good though, they often dodge 2 handed strikes pretty well

Fun but ultimately shallow. Quests are nonexistent. World feels bleak and repetitive. The xp farming from the fog monsters at night is a chore. The combat feels very fluent and fun but it's brain-dead, usually boiling down to spacing your opponents and spamming the most overpowered move.
>>
>>736229050
Most of the quests are the usual open world of "go to area, do a thing, come back for reward" but I admit, I was surprised to find the "help the local reformed whore get an abortion" quest. That came out of left field.

You can just not do it.

skyrim but as a better game

great game beat it twice
first time as a melee only rebel and
second time as a magic user loyalist.
second time had some story jank were things you learned and can only learn if your a rebel are brought up in dialogue like your chr knows about it.

theirs also a difficulty spike with sir gigachad that if your melee only requires you to chesse the boss fight in order to have any hope of killing him..

secret ending has good build up

good boss fights
set desgin is great (more then once you will say dam it i want to fight that)

some anticlimactic storys and conclusions to quests
loved it for its pay attention gameplay
looking forward to more dlc
magic needs more spells like alot more

Combat could be fun, but is so easy that there is no point to interact with most mechanics. I'm literally oneshooting everything
Soulful jank
It's ostensibly TES clone, or even Skyrim in particular. But not really. TES games are sandboxes which happen to have a "main quest" which is functionally no different from sidequests. This game is structured like Gothic and Witcher 1&2 instead. It's storyfocused to the point you won't be able to go to a different location without progressing the story.
No niggers at all, but stronk wymyn and faggots here and there
Skills and Attributes do not interact with each other and are badly implemented
Cool aesthetics and story. Or rather lore. Story is hardly here.
King Arthur is a bro and has nice VA
Based Galachad
Sick Danheim soundtrack, but why was it chosen for Arthurian Legends?

>giving a shit about the size of the game

Who the fuck cares? I have dozens of terabytes on my m2 drives. I don't get it.

I own the game but haven't played it. Are they still adding content? I'm in no rush and want the fullest experience
>>
Half baked millennial trash that railroads you into making unintuitive decisions that defy role-playing.

I sided against Camelot and then in act 2 it tells me to interact with a Camelot captain that threatens me, so I tell him to go fuck himself and he attacks me. I kill him and the he stands back up because he's an essential NPC and just keeps attacking me.

I uninstalled it at this point. I could overlook gay reddit shit like Arthur saying "humankind" instead of mankind but this was just stupid.

>theirs also a difficulty spike with sir gigachad that if your melee only requires you to chesse the boss fight in order to have any hope of killing him..
You shitting me? I just killed him with melee only with ease and no cheese. then went over to the other camp and killed everybody there as well.

Definition of a 6/10. Maybe 7 now with patches.

This game was the final nail in the coffin for me realising I can't play RPG's like Skyrim, Outer Worlds, or this since I just feel the need to loot absolutely everything on the map and I simply cannot find satisfaction knowing I left shit back in there. So I stopped playing after about 2/3 hours.
>>
Can someone explain to me what this game is? People say it's a skyrim like, is it true?
>>
>>736239770
I haven't played Skyrim, but I can confirm it's similar to Oblivion.
However it doesn't let you become good at everything eventually.
You have to actually do a specific build.

I'm playing through act 1 right now which is supposedly the best one but im about level 10ish and I must say it's atrocious how long it takes to actually start using the gear you find because it all has attribute requirements. The monsters and night also drop unidentified items and I just see no reason to play during daylight again.
>>736239770
It's a lot like oblivion/skyrim with some very minor gothic in there.

Game fun but I found it weird that the best outfit (that I have currently found) for dual wielding makes me cross dress. To dual wield with a magic barrier and +100% attack power I have to dress like a fag?

It looks like Skyrim, but similarities in design are superficial, because ultimately it doesn't work like TES.

You can loot everything of enemies like in TES. If you see enemy in plate armor, you will be able to loot his entire plate armor off him
Lockpicking minigame is 1:1 copied from Skyrim
It's designed around FPP combat like TES and fighting feels like lifted from Vermintide. Stamina/Dodges in particular are identical to Vermintide.
They also made you start as a prisoner
And there is Lusty Argonian Maid book equivalent

But there isn't actual Open World like in TES games nor a sandboxy design. There are 3 hubs basically. And you can only go to next act if you beat main story in current act
In TES games you can not bother with story and even mod it out with alternate start mods and games work. Actually they are even better that way when you play as just some guy and not a chosen one. You can join some random guild in TES games and larp just as Warrior's Guild member if you want.
Here everything is designed around main story and you HAVE to pursue it. It's honestly more like Witcher, Arx Fatalis or Gothic in this regard. So ultimately the closest equivalent would be Enderal, which also is not designed like TES games, despite using Skyrim as an engine.
You also have King Arthur in your head commenting on events which is kinda hard to ignore

And it seems like another update and free dlc about Merlin just dropped
>>
>>736228313
NTA but how can you not notice the amount of games released these days being incomplete? "Live service" basically means "We're still not finished working on our game, here pay for this beta so we can finish updating everything we planned for it, don't know how long that will be, and maybe charge you again for the rest of the shit owed to you as dlc."

Years ago I've already developed the habit of not falling for the hype, waiting at least a year for the product to be fine tuned and completed with all the intended content at half price.

First person Gothic.
If youre into eurojank, this is all you need to sell you on this game.
>>
First time playing on hardest difficulty, just reached act 2. I play magic mainly but summons seem busted because they can just tank bosses aggro 100% while you damage/resummon. Though it was a bit weird that as soon as ACT2 started some random bandit was almost as tanky as Galahad
