Wii cemented them being seen as babbyshit.Developers didn't want to be hindered by Nintendo's crappy hardware, so they flocked to PS, Xbox and PC.They should have put way more under the hood of the WiiU. The gamepad as a gimmick was a step in the right direction coming from the deeldo. It's basically the prototype Switch.If it was seen as more viable to a wider audience, it would have seen more software released, and sold more units.Nintendo just went their usual stupid cheap route, and it blew up in their face unsurprisingly.I personally hate the detachable joycon shit and hope they get rid of it, but I'm still salty about the WiiU being deserted, and have barely played anything they've put out since.Honestly the writing was on the wall with the N64.
