Same. Played the shit out of 64 but between that and the other N64 3D platformers I was kinda sick of them by the time I got a gamecube. Barely touched Galaxy and Odyssey as well.

I got a GameCube and Super Mario Sunshine for my 12th birthday, but I didn't get a memory card.
I got Super Mario Sunshine because I liked F.L.U.D.D. and the cinematic cutscenes.
When I bought my own Nintendo Wii from Goodwill in the summer of 2024, I bought a GameCube memory card, so I was finally able to play Super Mario Sunshine.
