What's the most anti-war left leaning CoD I'd say CoD 4 for the nuke scene but I can be interpreting it wrong

Stop trying to interpret things, faggot. Just play the game and have fun. Jesus Christ. I bet you watch video essays.

The message of CoD 4 is basically that America should drop it's Cold War mentality and exceptionalist attitudes and instead get chummy with Russia so they can fight the real threats of the modern day together (terrorism and nationalism). The nuke scene is an explosive metaphor for how America going balls to the wall in Iraq and Afghanistan was self destructive. Even though I wouldn't quite call the game anti military (the US, British, and Russian loyalists are definitely good guys), it gives a sober appraisal of Bush-era foreign politics.

It's kind of shocking how just a couple years later they made MW2, which went all in on the xenophobic militaristic armywank. War with Russia now! Death to the hated enemy! USA USA USA! Still a fun game though.

How about Black Ops, I'd say it was schitzo but somewhat true because it somewhat critiques Cold War paranoia?
