American/British/European entertainment has always been corny and embraced being corny prior the woke culture of 90s started penetrating the mass through false sciences and mass cancel culture. Walt Disney famously stated about enjoying corny content by stating "I'm corny...there's 40mil people in this country who are as corny as I am."
