(Playing via PC emulation during Le global war on terror)Here’s how you do it. The American Dreams are OP. The Ninja Black Socks are the second best team. You play one game as the Dreams vs Sox. Next game you play as the Sox vs Dreams. If you split the games 1-1, no money changes hands. If you win both games you get $20. Baseball Stars works in just enough randomness and fatigue factor that it’s both a game of skill and a game of chance. You have to know the rosters and you have to know your human opponent’s tendencies. It’s shockingly balanced for gambling. I’m not aware of any other NES games that are really suitable for inter-friend gambling. When you win, you feel like you’ve earned it. When you lose, you congratulate your friend for his good strategy.
