Game was 10/10 even before the first patch. It's just too gamey. There is no cinematic story, and this breaks many people because they can't even imagine a video game without such a thing nowadays.

Game journalists are worthless sacks of shit who are terrible at the one thing they should actually be competent at. I don't even think Crimson Desert is some 10/10 masterpiece, but the idea that it got a 6 when some literal liquid diarrhea like Veilguard got a 9 from them just boggles the mind.

They automatically equip the memory helmet and playback memories when you scan memories so you don't have to do that weird combination of 'scan memory > open equipment menu > switch to armor > equip the memory helmet > watch the memory', it was slow as tedious as fuck to do that every time
Sped up learning speed so you don't have to stare at a piece of paper for 5 seconds before you can actually read it
Bosses got nerfed
Healing items got buffed
Added more fast travel points on the map
Reduced the amount of stamina you use while gliding

There's a bunch of other shit but those are the biggest changes that are hard to miss

Yeah, the complaints about the early bosses is laughable. Reed Devil is literally stagger locked by parrying and if you have the capability of dodging left or right instead of directly into the wind blades every time like a monkey for the last phase you will never get touched, and yet people were talking about going through dozens of pieces of food and all their pills.

Shit was even worse during the review period. They were doing daily patches to try fix the most blatant fucked shit reviewers complained to them about. You start with 50 inventory slots now and get 3 from most quests. Reviewers started with 20 slots and got jack shit from quests.

Far as I'm concerned the game being 6/10 comes down to two things: no CaC, no[t enough] fanatasy monsters.

If you could play the entire game as Damiane that would make the game 7/10. Damiane and more actual fantasy monsters, pretty easy 8 even with the weird story and RDR2 awkward controls and weird MMO-tier crafting.

Again, I talk to Travis North and he thought it was actually a 3/10 and the game was a massive slog, he felt it took away his time from Marathon. IGN didn’t let him rate it a 6/10.
A re review will not improve the score. It is a bad game. You CAN enjoy and have fun with a bad game too.
