I've never been any good at platformers, especially the older ones. I still have yet to even beat Donkey Kong Country.

>>736273905There is inherent lag in a ton of emulators that make 2D platformers literally unplayable for me. Same goes for modern TVs and monitors. I recommend downloading RetroArch and enabling its low latency options such as hard-gpu sync and runahead. It makes a lot of those old games feel much closer to how they would have felt on original hardware
I am godawful at FPS. Not even TPS, just FPS in particular.

Most of them, except maybe racing games.Despite how much I game i'm baffled at how bad I am at fighting games, platformers, and SRPGs. Pretty mediocre at shmups but at least I have a few good clears.
