Some of you zoomies don't know this, but hard games were invented by arcades in order to steal difficulty from children. They have no artistic value whatsoever, they are purely a monetary and financial decision. No game should be hard EVER.
>>736273927>Enemies do two points of damage per hit>Every enemy is a sponge>Upgrades do essentially nothing to change thisMaybe it just sucks.
Some people like challenge
>>736274075Agreed. I don't care if I'm in the minority for thinking it, but the game was chock-full of artificial difficulty fucking bullshit that made me not give a shit at all about the game by the time got like 50% through, let alone finished it
>>736274228>artificial difficulttyGame journo IQ level detected. Opinion discarded.
>>736273927stale old bait
>>736273927game is too easy -> don't have to think to play it -> gets boring
>>736273927Okay. That's not going to make Silksong any easier.
>>736274075>>736274228Maybe some people want the difficulty of a sequel to pick up where the previous game ended.
>>736273927>>736274075>>736274228These niggas died to the last judge’s fakeout
>>736274075damage upgrades do a lot. 2 damage upgrades let me kill a certain enemy twice as fast.
>>736273927They were invented before arcade, lying zoomoid
>>736274075T H I S>get attack upgrade>literally does nothing
>blowdart sniper starts jumping around like a ninja on crack>throw grenade>obliterates him in one hit:)
>>736273927> steal difficulty from childrenread before you post, dumb faggot
>>736273927>they are purely a monetary and financial decisionthat makes no sense when applied to general gaming. What do coporations gain from making things harder?Arcade marketing is not video game marketing
>>736275483This. You want the right level of difficulty. And I'm not saying overly hard is always the answer, but game journalism mode should never be an option.
