Star Citizen is selling a concept of Eve/Elite/GTA in space where everything happens organically and players can interact with it down to the smallest details. The issue is the size and scope of the space setting requires a lot of abstraction to actually make it enjoyable even in a single player setting, let alone an MMO. No one actually wants to get out of the cockpit, walk though the ship, take your cargo elevator down though the hold that has all the goods your carrying accurately rendered in it. People want to dock, click a menu and sell to market. Instead of building a solid game based on core concepts, the devs are spending time and money on shit like pic related that no one actually cares about.

the flying is kino and especially with hosas joysticks set up, and the graphic are very pretty at times but im just tired of having 30fps at lorville or big cities despite having a 5800x3d.if this game ran smoothly then i'd tolerate flying around and playing it.

I hate Star Citizen because their scam has completely killed any new space simulation games from existing.Nothing about the game is revolutionary, none of it relies on technology that isn't readily available but no company is ever going to seriously try making a space sim because of Star Citizen.They've genuinely fucked the market.

These days I get about 50-60 FPS in those places when they are under heavy load, which is fine really since everywhere else is higher frames (120 capped @ 4k) and stable.
