The bosses in this game were the best of its time. Especially Gatekeeper/Geisha feels almost like a monster hunter boss in its high degree of perfection.
Discovering Treasure as an adult reignited my love of video games. My introduction was Alien Soldier, and after that I just binged their whole catalog obsessively.
