Why is this series so insanely dead? Regardless of how people feel about Arise in terms of quality or direction, I thought it was at least financially successful. Even if they pivoted to AAA development cycles, it shouldn't take this long for a new game to come out.

Playing the original super famicom version of phantasia right now. Does using a strong attack or light attack just depend on wether I double tap the attack button or is there some other trick to it? I want to know if I can actually control whether my character uses the rising slash or falling slash versions of the strong attack.
