I like SM, think LGPE is fine for what it is, greatly enjoy both Legends games and think SV is a good game let down by incompetence and lack of time. SwSh and BDSP were a one-two punch of the worst games in the series though. All in all the series got way less consistent and all the ups and downs should not be allowed.

top row pacing issues and absolute slogs well I haven't played ultra yet.
bottom row actually surprisingly delightful experiences. completed sword base dex with /wfg/ getting a bunch of square shinies. played arceus like a fucking MGS stealth game it was pure ludo. violet just ran terribly but I cleared every dex but blueberry I have to do post story events legendaries and pecharunt.

the only things the 3DS games had were the p-power touch screen shenanigans and wonder trading before some asshole hacked the wifi trading thing on the 3DS and it's still barely functional
