The problem is that the series would actually need a good reboot, but they can't do another reboot after MK1 and they can't continue the original timeline from Armageddon because 99% of the characters are dead and nobody would give a fuck about yet another roster full of new fuckers.They should just let the franchise rest for a decade or so
