Especially since each season only felt like half of an update, but was being used to push DLC each time. How dare you criticize updates to a "finished" game and our lord GSG, the game came out X years ago so please please please stop criticizing it and move on, etc. etc. etc. It only just served to amplify the negativity, as they felt they had to be more critical to not stand out. And then finally there was Rogue Core, which has a lot of the shit people were asking to finally complete out DRG, and is instead going to be a completely separate game. A lot of people feel that it's what would actually be expected if they put work into an update, and they said themselves that they were going to but that the code was too spaghetti'd to add it to existing systems, which to a good number of people just looked really bad when they were already frowning on the seasonal updates.
