Some of the environment designs (particularly the intro forest area and some of the Lamorn stuff) are gorgeous.On basically every other level it's middling to bad.Without thinking too hard about critiques, I can say ballooning dev times are becoming a real problem.If the game had come out and been amazing after ... what was it ... 8 years since its annoucement(?) that length of dev time would have been a non-issue.8 years for a game to come out and be even more stripped down and simplified in terms of gameplay, and even more obnoxiously story centric than Prime 3 (despite like 17 years for Nintendo to digest the criticism of that game), its biggest new features being a bike and a squad of comedy sidekicks in a series known for its sense of isolation...Calling it like I see it, Prime 4 is a shark jump.
