The last quarter of the game left a lot to be desired. Still had a great time, but the game was at its best when it was you going from city to city garnering support. Once the gauntlet runner can fly it removes a lot of that charm. Still had a great time.

Persona 5 Royal is still what I consider the best of the Atlus titles.

I really think a big reason behind people not really giving this game a chance and it being largely forgotten in public consciousness is the ugly as fuck main character design.
If we played as anything but Deviantart Marth it would've been so much better. Even skintight super sentai SMT V mc is cool in a niche kind of way, the Metaphor protag has NOTHING
