Honest question for those that do play the game, but I just joined a new FC built by some 1.0 guy and some former world racer people and did a leveling roulette with them that landed us in Satasha with a fresh Gladiator tank who was still new to the game and doing it the first time, but the other guys were DPS and rushing ahead and telling the new tank to keep up and that he was too slow and stuff. No sense of letting the guy just feel it out a bit or anything, just pushing him to optimize pulls as a new player, and it set a sour taste in my mouth. Should I be a whiny bitch and drop them to find a group more in line with my values of letting new players learn the game at their own pace, or just go back to being a solo player at this point?

I don't have a source handy but I was told some side material specified that Venat's soul was gone, as in dispersed enough to be outside the cycle of reincarnation. Which seems like a fair retirement deal to me considering she was already alive for 12000 years plus however long she lived as Venat.

I believe, to some extent, they "gave up" on Dawntrail about midway through and diverted more resources to making their new expansion, 8.0, the best one yet. Because what's the point of pouring their heart and soul into an expansion that already has a horrendous reputation if it means the next one won't improve in a substantial way? Especially when the community is begging for large scale changes as soon as 8.0.
