Nobody in the history of ever has actually enjoyed a crafting system in a videogame. What fucktard actually keeps pushing these?
>>736313658You don't understand! Games should be work, goyim!
>>736313658You will cut trees and you will love it
plenty of games like Skyirim have made crafting exciting. You're saying dumb stuff, you're ridiculous, and you have no style. Gaining items is always an enjoyable part of the gameplay. Survival games make craflook bad because farming 700000 iron ores is not fun. Acquiring new gear is fun.
I like them when you just craft permanent upgrades.Crafting consumables is awful.
>>736313658I did in mineCRAFT
>>736313658crafting systems are fine when used right and not tacked onthe real criminal is durability systems.
>>736314231The inclusion of a crafting system in Skyrim is one of the worst things Bethesda has ever done, I've never ignored a system that hard in my life.
I HATE CRAFTING >goes back to creating items using money at stores
>>736314165Mining is the worst one of them all
>>736314726You don't need to mine rocks, smelt 5 ingots in an oven, cure a deer hide on a tanning rack and turn it into leather strips then interact with a forge to buy a sword from a store. Busywork is a cancer in gaming.
fun fact: cooking is just crafting with a different coat of paint
>>736314165>>736314965>trees>ore>hidesIt's the same, every time.
>>736314726Watch me craft the Dagger of Infinite Noscopes with my 10'000 gold, 125 gems, and 20 blizzcoin TM via the awezomestore
>>736313658I like crafting systems when they're goodMost of them are not good. They're just kind of tacked on and have no particular mechanics other than the most basic "2 stones and wood for a campfire" kind of shit
>>736313658This guy
>>736315142They're best when they're tacked on and you can ignore them completely.
>called crafting>actually just a drag'n'drop window with a progress barPeople really find this fun?Who plays this crap, people who stare at excel sheets all day and talk about what route they took to their vacation destination last year with the family?Eat a shotgun. Holy fuck.
i hate crafting because it means you cant find cool loot. any good item is something that has to be crafted. it just completely takes away the feeling of reward when doing quests and stuff. now any time you want a really good item or weapon you get it by collecting a bunch of materials or grinding a skill and fucking crafting it. just total ass
>>736313658I like Atelier
born to mine forced to craft
>sell a crafting ingredient>find out hours later it was needed for a fairly important itemFUCK
>>736313658Games are made so you can kill and destroy. Anyone who likes creation in games is a communist and a faggot.
>>736317523>the only way he can think to exert his will on his surroundings is through violenceWhy not both? Also the third most built structure on any given server is swastikas (after dirt huts and dicks) so you are at least half wrong on that latter point.
>>736317803I built a dick-shaped dirt hut with a swastika on it and that was the first and last time I played Minecraft.
>>736317803I never played Minecraft because it has "craft" in the title. Had it been "Minerape," I would have tried it.
>>736319727So you never played Warcraft or Starcraft either? What a fag.
>>736313658>Nobody in the history of ever has actually enjoyed a crafting system in a videogameDungeons of Dredmor had a fun crafting system where every single crafted gear was useful somwhow. Also Raft! (Game in OP picrel) absolutely requires multiple players to be successful in.
>>736313935>You don't understand! Games should be work, goyim! Some games; Oxygen Not Included, Graveyard Keeper, and Dyson Sphere Program are all "Work: The Game!" But do something different that sucks you in more than games like Raft!, Don't Starve, and Terraria.
>>736319796I'm not a Blizzdrone. I play Diablo 1, 2, and 4. That's it.
>>736314386>endless healing potion>endless mana potion>flask of the northI don't care if they were weaker than the consumable counterpart, I loved having permanent potions as an alchemist in Wrath of the Lich King
>>736320263I like when my flasks refill after resting at a bonfire in dark souls and I don't have to do anything.
>>736314231>farming 700000 iron ores is not fun. Acquiring new gear is funThis.
