What are some GOOD recent city building games
define city building gamesdoes it have to be an ACTUAL city, or are you fine with abstractions - say, captain of industry/dyson sphere program, where there is traffic/logistics/needs/buildings/compartmentalization, just not a traditional city

>>736316926so just visuals? cities skylines and thats it, hard to even consider the 'good' part cause there's nothing else that isn't also an autism simulator like ostriv or manor lords or sengokku voxel castle with zundamon or workers+resources soviet republic or fuck man what about timberborn
Why did impression stop making these :( they were so good
Tlatoani came out a few days back. Haven't had the time to play it yet, but it looks like it plays similarly to the Impression games.
>>736318259looks very much like nebuchadnezzar (which is also pretty good)
>>736318259I played the demo way back but recall little of it. I don't think they use the walker system, and I do recall there's some aztec code of building the city, like feng shui in emperorAlso it looks very good
>>736316715timberborne
>>736317158There's also the hyper casual "games" subgenre, that's just drawing your city/town/hamlet on the canvas with no goals or limits. Games like Tiny Glade and Dystopika.
