They are trash for gaming

OLED is just PERFECT for rendering proud African men in the highest fidelity possible
>>

LED > OLED
Every time.
>>
I don't understand any of those words
>>
fucking judders...
>>

Can confirm, have a QD OLED monitor and games and movies still look better on my cheapo Hisense VA TV (I've adjusted the settings for both)

Plus my monitor literally kicks me off every few days to perform some kind of bullshit burn-in prevention task. I can't prevent it even if I want to, literal cuck humiliation ritual
>>
I've tried all of them and OLED is the best, period.
>>
>>736321137
miniLED mogs the shit out of it.
>>
>>736320825
OP is saying in a roundabout way that he's in the market for a new monitor and wants us, mostly people with OLED monitors, to assuage his fears by vigorously defending the tech by presenting our purchases as trash. But. Nah... fuck you, faggot. Maybe all those problems apply to me, but you'll never know. eat shit.
>>
>>736321231
It really doesn't. I understood OLED was better the moment I decided to play games on my fucking OLED Switch instead of my 4090 PC with a BenQ miniled
>>
>>736320825
my oled display has none of these and looks perfect. cope
>>
>>736320825
yeah I have one and have had it for about 6 years. zero burn in or any of the issues you listed
>>
>>736320825
Yes, it's amazing. My only regret is not buying 2 OLED monitors and having to suffer with a LED 2nd monitor that's used for more static tasks.

OP here, I meant to put LCD and not OLED
>>
Yeah, I just replaced my 480hz OLED with burn in with a 360hz Pulsar monitor
>>
oled is good if you can fit a media only monitor into your setup. it's not something you should regularly use for basic desktop function.
>>
>>736320825
Aside from CRT what alternative is there. LCD is unusable trash, and I am not aware of any other display technology.
>>

Mini led is like the worst of all trades.
>more expensive than even oled itself, yet
>inferior contrast
>worst latency
>worst response times
>but better contrast than regular LEDs
What's the fucking point? Just wait for microLED if you're not getting OLED.
>>
>>736321036
There is no such thing as an "LED" monitor.
>>

>everyones always saying burn in
the real issue I have with oled displays is the blue light, shit gives me a massive migraine
