The bigger problem is that the last third of the original FF7 is a boring wet fart, trying to make a game around that is going to be a really hard thing to do, even the people who jizz over FF7 stop playing before hitting disc 3, it's like FF6, people replay it annually but drop it once world of ruin starts.
