There are almost none. REmake is one arguably, though it's more "different and complementary". The new Nier Replicant PC release is better, but it isn't a remake, it's more like an update

Odin Sphere Luftwaffle takes a repetitive game and revitalizes it with new level design and more varied gameplay between characters while also adding a better progression system. It also includes the original game if you would rather play that 100% unchanged (technically 99% unchanged because I believe it no longer has slowdowns caused by too much shit on the screen since the PS4 can handle that much shit on the screen better than the PS2 could).It is the gold standard that all remakes should strive toward.

Some of the bosses were left unchanged, and were very clearly not designed to handle the player's expanded moveset and mobility.
