Age of Decadence is kind of like that, if you want to reach specific plotlines. But it's more so not save and load, but have to be very careful with how you spend your skill points or you will be forced to reload or get fucked out of specific plot line.
Very annoying, considering I liked the worldbuilding and story, but not the gameplay.
