Metal Warriors was okay. Assault Suits Valken / Cybernator was better.
Never played Titanfall.
My only Armored Core experience was AC2 on the PS2, didn't care for it.
If Steel Battalion, Metal Wolf Chaos, Zone of the Enders 2, and Bangai-O constitute terrible taste, then sign me the fuck up.

Literally the only grounded / "realistic" / customizable mecha game I have ever enjoyed is Steel Battalion. Don't know what to tell you, my guy.

Pretty based taste for some overly anime picks like ZOE2, Xenogears and Metal Wolf Chaos. Makes the realrobotfags seethe.
Ironically, i like FM2 a lot, if only because it's essentially Patlabor 2 in game form. I also really like the Gundam Vs series, Next Plus for the PSP was my jam and i wish they released Maxiboost for PC.

OP here, it's kino if you have any friends who would be up for learning the ropes and becoming formidable opponents. Oddly enough, the cheapest way to get it is physically for PS4, a sealed copy goes for $20 on ebay. At least that way, if you don't like it even after 2 hours, you could resell and get almost as much as you paid for it.

Don't ask me why it's XD and not DX, but it's literally part of the title for the remaster. I will concede that it was a stupid-ass decision but the game itself is arguably From's best mecha game.
