So what was the deal with BPAS ? Thought it'd be like the roboticist where he turns out to be some kind of AI after you 5 star him but nothing happens.

>>736339236Are we in a tight spot, master?
>>736339269Its a reference to how you cant talk bad about Israel
is the gameplay any better in 2?
>>7363393742 is basically 1.5, the gameplay got a huge improvement. But if you didn't like 1 chances are you won't like 2 either.
>>736339374Its the same but easier
>>736339447>But if you didn't like 1 chances are you won't like 2 either. Not necessarily. Anecdotal but I still cant tell if I loved or hated 1 all these years later, but 2 clicked in such a way that I played it non stop for like 3 months and absolutely loved it. I cant even really pin point why this happened either, it just clicked for me in a way that 1 didnt.
There are cattle who actually bought this shit, amazing
>>736339550You get everything a lot faster this time around. Not even half an hour into the game and you already have plenty of tools available.
>>736339294Based killer 7 fans.
>100%'d game>want to replay for story>don't want to burn myself out on delivering in case there's DLC or updates that add stuff laterI DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
Amelie not having a single line of dialogue was weird
>>736339374Gameplay is improved across the board however this unfortunately removes a lot of the soul from the game. If you liked 1 then 2 is basically just an extension of 1. It gives you more theme park shit to do and rushes progress so that you're basically at the same point in terms of upgrades from the get-go. It's a double edged sword.
REEEEEEEEEEEEE I GOTTA PAVEi just put the anime girl on the network and have a truck full of metal and ceramic and the paver is HERE of all places i'm utterly gutted
>>736340868The Actress is on bad terms with them now probably. Plus when you think about it, Higgs is Amelie now.

>>736339550im the opposite, ds1 is a straight masterpiece, ds2 is like a 9/10
>>736341840>october 2026 and early 2027>soonI'll read them for sure, but there's moments I can't stop thinking about. Like the fighting on the bridge. Like how fucking miserable some bosses were on TTW, and how I want to do them again on TTW

>>736340868Fits with her desicion in the last game to remain 'disconnected' (sort of), I feel like if she tried to talk/make contact with Sam again, she probably wouldn't be able to stop herself from going too far and re-activating the last stranding.
>>736339447for me death stranding 2 is a complete downgrade of ds1. not that death stranding 1 was a hard game, but at least you had to sometimes prepare and route and go on foot, at least before the director's sissy edition. in ds2 you literally don't even need roads and you can just drive everywhere conveniently and BTs are pretty much a nothing burger throughout the whole game.
>>736339294In the name of Harman......
>>736339374Unlike Death Stranding 1, DS2 is combat and action focused. Think inferior gameplay to MGSV with mission structures focused on action and combat. It isn't a Strand Type game if you wanted that, the exploration takes a backseat to the combat. Outside that pretty much everything else in the game has been improved.
>>736343175>DS2 is combat and action focusedwell if the combat is better, I might just give it a whirl.
i did it bros, i am the lord of the lake nowhttps://youtu.be/OfOR6DTSBgo
DS2's melee combat options are hilarious, i completely stopped using guns outside of BT fights
>>736343243It is marginally better, but better none the less. Unfortunately it was far too actiony for my taste and (for me) utterly ruined the vibes of the game. Also the story is pretty shit, if not the worst of Kojima's games in the last 20 years or so. Basically the more you liked DS1's world and story the less you might like DS2's world and story. Since a lot of fans weren't actually into DS1 that are into DS2 it is a coin toss really but I'd say for most people DS2 is a welcome and accessible game with gameplay norms expects from most games, unlike DS1. The last 2 games I preordered were DD2 and DS2, BOTH of which have let me down quite a bit.
