>>736341237I played them on release. Tank controls and backtracking have always been bullshit. Playing as Chris in RE1 was a fucking nightmare. I didn't have RE2, but briefly played it with my friend on his console, so I won't pass my judgement. Re3 felt great, but was very short. Playing it for the 1st time felt like a genuine horror game, but the subsequent playthroughs turn it into an action game of "will I manage to fuck Nemesis up on every encounter to get the items". The lab sections have always been the weakest part of every RE.

They can stand on their hind legs and run fast enough to catch up with your character and knock them down. For whatever reason they're much more docile in 2 and 3.
